Meet Our Teaching Staff

Director

Kristine

Hello, my name is Kristine. I have a degree in both elementary and special education from St. Cloud State. I have worked in all areas of early childhood since 2000. I love to meet new families and watch the children grow and learn. My husband and I have two children and a dog. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and playing in the kitchen.

Infant Staff

Maira

Hello, my name is Maira! I love working with babies and young children, so I decided to study and get my CDA. I have six years experience working with young children and every day that passes, I like my job more. Right now, I am very excited to work with babies and contribute to their growth. Most importantly, I love providing the best care and lots of love!

Kailey

Hi, my name is Kailey. I started with EFC in September 2019. I love working with children. I have a bachelor’s degree in individualized studies and a minor in child advocacy studies. I graduated from Winona State. I also have two kids of my own. I have worked in childcare since December 2018. In my spare time I love spending time with my family or reading a good book.

Kerri

My name is Kerri and I am one of the older infant teachers. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and a minor in coaching from the University of Northwestern St. Paul. I also have over 10 years of experience working with children of all age groups, but I have found my passion is working with infants. I love their curiosity and energy and how they absorb everything around them. It is such a privilege to watch them grow and learn, and to know that I was a part of that. When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my husband Eli, our two boys Logan and Liam, and our kittens.

Toddler Staff

Lizeth

I have been working with children since 2017. I graduated from Simley Senior High School June of 2018. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with family and friends, paddle boarding and fishing.

Kaitlin

Hi, my name is Kaitlin!  I began working at EFC in April 2019.  I am working in the toddler room and absolutely love it.  I enjoy watching and playing a part of the children growing  and learning new things every day.  I am also a full time student at Dakota County Technical College, majoring in Early Childhood Education.  In my free time, I love spending time with my daughter, traveling and being outdoors.

Carmen

Hi, my name is Carmen! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and have over five years experience working with young children. My education has allowed me to learn more about this age group. It makes me very happy working with toddlers because every day I continue to learn new things. I am so lucky!

Preschool/Pre-K Staff

Maddie

Hi, my name is Maddie. This is my first job in child care, and I hope to make a positive impact on the education of children. I’m currently attending Concordia University in St. Paul and majoring in Elementary Education. I’m so glad to have this opportunity to watch children learn and grow.

Alison

Hi, my name is Alison. I have had the pleasure of working with children since 2002. I graduated from Rasmussen with a degree in Early Childhood Development. Being a teacher is definitely my passion. I love to see the individual progress each child makes over the years and that each day brings on unexpected learning experiences! I live in Inver Grove Heights with my wonderful family. When I am not teaching, you can find me shopping, cuddled up on the couch drinking tea while watching Lifetime movies, and spending time with my family.

Stefanie

Hi, my name is Stefanie. I just recently moved to MN and in 2019 and married Roy, a state fire marshal.  I have an adult daughter named Caroline.  I have been working with children for 32 years, OPC for 17 years and Head Start for 14 years.  I now happily work with EFC, and I think MN is beautiful.

Laura

Hi, my name is Laura and I am the 4 year old teacher. I have a CDA in early child hood and began working at EFC 20 years ago. I have worked in the field for 23 years. I like the 4 year old preschool class because they are always ready to learn new and exciting things each day!

Tina

Hi, my name is Tina. I have been working in child care for 28 years. I have a CDA and I am also the Food Service Manager on site. I take great pride in working for EFC and began working here in 2004. I am excited about working with the youngest preschool children because everything is new to them. We learn potty training, painting, cutting, letter writing and much, much more. When they leave my room they are capable of most of these tasks!
