Meet Our Teaching Staff

Hello, my name is Kristine. I have a degree in both elementary and special education from St. Cloud State. I have worked in all areas of early childhood since 2000. I love to meet new families and watch the children grow and learn. My husband and I have two children and a dog. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and playing in the kitchen.

Assistant Director

Hi, my name is Alison. I have had the pleasure of working with children since 2002. I graduated from Rasmussen with a degree in Early Childhood Development. Being in early childhood is definitely my passion. I love to see the individual progress each child makes over the years and that each day brings on unexpected learning experiences! I live in Inver Grove Heights with my wonderful family. When I am not in the office, you can find me shopping, cuddled up on the couch drinking tea while watching Lifetime movies, and spending time with my family.

Infant Staff

Hello, my name is Maira! I love working with babies and young children, so I decided to study and get my CDA. I have six years experience working with young children and every day that passes, I like my job more. Right now, I am very excited to work with babies and contribute to their growth. Most importantly, I love providing the best care and lots of love!

My name is Kerri and I am one of the older infant teachers. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and a minor in coaching from the University of Northwestern St. Paul. I also have over 10 years of experience working with children of all age groups, but I have found my passion is working with infants. I love their curiosity and energy and how they absorb everything around them. It is such a privilege to watch them grow and learn, and to know that I was a part of that. When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my husband Eli, our two boys Logan and Liam, and our kittens.

My name is Haley. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from Concordia St. Paul in 2022. I’ve been working with children off and on since 2018. On my days off I like to read, make crafts, or hang out with my friends and family.

My name is Kristin and I am married and have two children. I have worked with children since 2008. I have a A.A.S. degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from The College of St. Catherine and a B.S. in psychology from North Western University. This is my first time as an infant teacher and I love seeing the daily changes as the babies grow and develop. During my time off I enjoy baking, cooking, scrapbooking, reading and spending time with my family.

Hello! My name is Menahal, but I go by Menah and I am absolutely honored to be your infant teacher. I am currently working on getting my CDA. I went to Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights and always wanted to teach young children. I know we will have a wonderful time ahead of us full of learning, laughter, and growth. I am very passionate about art and will do my best to make every day fun! I am excited to be part of Especially for Children and to meet each and every one of you!

Hello, my name is Kasey, and children have always been my passion. I started at EFC in 2021. I am an aunt to 5 kids and they are my everything. I am the “fun” aunt, as they say! There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t see or talk to them. In my free time I usually like to be outside, whether it be ice fishing or hiking, and I absolutely love to go camping with my family. I’m always hanging out with my two sisters and all my cousins on weekends.
