Welcome to Especially for Children’s Eagan Child Development Center. We serve infant through school age children in a caring and safe environment. Our programs are based on the Creative Curriculum®, which is designed to encourage exploration and learning through play. Read more about our Learning Curriculum and Developmental Goals here.
At EFC Eagan, children enjoy a spacious, newly remodeled center with a Gym/Large Muscle room as well as two playgrounds with sandboxes and grassy hills. We are located next to Quarry Park, which features a baseball diamond, soccer field, playground, ice rink and sledding hill, so we have many opportunities to spend time outdoors. Throughout the day the children participate in a wide range of activities including art, reading, outdoor play, buggy rides (infants) and sign language. Music and movement classes are offered bi-monthly. We would love for you to visit us and learn more about your family!
Hi. My name is Pam and I am co-director here at Especially for Children in Eagan. I live in Cottage Grove with my husband, Mike, and school-aged son, Ryan. I have my B.S degree from St. Cloud State with a major in Social Work and my Teaching License in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of St. Thomas. I have been working in child care centers since 1998 and have held positions as teacher, Assistant Director and Director. Growing up I always knew I wanted to be around children, and my passion for working in the field of Early Childhood really started while I was working at a center after college. I enjoy being able to help parents make the transition back to work by providing a safe and fun environment for children to thrive in.
