Kathy started her career at EFC in 1980 at the Brooklyn Park center. She met her husband Dean in 1983 at a softball game. They married shortly afterwards. Dean retired a few years ago and they enjoy as much time as possible at their cabin. She loves boating and riding her bike in her spare time!

Working with children is special because of their eagerness to learn and explore. Kathy brings energy and the ability to teach new things to the children every day. When asked what has changed since she started in the field, Kathy says that more rules and regulations are in place today to insure the safety of the children. And her co-workers are getting younger! 🙂 Kathy has enjoyed the sense of family at EFC and the many wonderful families that come through our doors. She loves having former students return as parents and teachers who want to work where they grew up!
